Research

My research focuses on the study of partial differential equations via variational methods. I am interested in the connection between evolutionary equations on discrete state spaces and their continuous counterparts. The motivation comes from the analysis of numerical schemes for partial differential equations on unstructured meshes, the analysis of data structures, and algorithms on networks.

Keywords: discrete-to-continuum convergence, generalized gradient structures, minimizing movements schemes, optimal transport, calculus of variations, variational analysis of numerical schemes, discrete curvature.
